Biofull version here. Michiru was a normal kid living in Britain until he and his family got into a car accident, leaving him an orphan. In addition, his left eye was completely crushed in, and it seemed he was doomed to be crippled and disfigured with the horrible injury. Luckily, the man his father worked for, Dr. Kujyou, performed a long, tedious, and risky surgery to implant an artificial eye in him. For several years afterwards, reoccuring infections left him in the hospital, and he lost a year of school. However, Dr. Kujyou, his adoptive father, homeschooled him until the doctor died when Michiru was fourteen. In a letter, he asked Michiru to take care of two unique teenagers: Kazune Kujyou and Karin Hanazono, so he moved to Japan for three years to help them grow and mature. However, he has now left to attend Saint Ambrosia in order to pursue a medical research career. Michiru is a happy, cheerful person who loves loving people and could care less if they share the sentiments. At the same time, he hides a troubled, solemn side that can emerge at times. He is cool-headed, logical, and a voice of reason. He is also highly intuitive. Sometimes portrayed as stereotypical British, he uses some of the token British mannerisms. | Upon arrival, the soul of a great white shark was implanted in Michiru’s spine. As the beast begins to take over, Michiru’s senses will jump to a whole new level: he will be able to smell blood, even if it’s just a drop, anywhere in his general area. His eyes will become glazed and unblinking, and will possess heightened night-sight. However, this only applies to his original eye – the artificial eye is not technically a part of him. As the possession continues to take hold, he will have some backlash from the eye as well. His sense of hearing will increase, and he will develop a peculiar ability to sense electric fields and will be able to ‘feel’ others’ motions. Basics of shark senses. The shark as a beast is, as everybody knows, an aquatic predator. It preys on fish and other aquatic organisms, and is infamous for attacking humans – which is actually not all that often. They can be extremely aggressive to each other, and will kill each other to assert dominance. This predatory instinct will begin to emerge in time, causing Michiru to become much more hostile to his fellow classmates who pose a threat to his hierarchical standing, the way the great white sharks attack other sharks that seem like they’re trying to assert dominance over them.
